Hampton Inn & Suites West Lafayette

The rooms were roomy and clean, with comfortable furniture, a great walk-in shower, and a bed I slept well in. Breakfast was convenient and good, and I enjoyed chatting with Conner, one of the newer employees. Staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. A woman I guessed was the manager and two other employees helped us and showed us the complimentary snack table with candy and bottled water, which we heard was a football weekend feature. They even offered cold water from the fridge. The property is well maintained, parking is free and plentiful, and campus is a short, slightly uphill walk. I usually stay at the Purdue Memorial Union for football weekends, but the price has gotten ridiculous. We'll be heading to the game soon and are looking forward to another comfortable evening here.

Free parking was a nice bonus, and this was a great value for our Purdue visit. Mindy at the front desk was so helpful when we checked in. Robert kept breakfast organized and made sure everyone was happy, and the food was really good. Lisa, the manager, went out of her way to help us. I missed the housekeeper supervisor's name, but he was helpful too. I'd stay here again.

The front desk woman was really nice and helpful. We asked about an EV charger, and she explained they have plans for one in the future. My husband spotted a couple of outlets near the entrance that seemed well placed and asked if we could trickle-charge from them while we were staying there. She said that was fine.

The rooms are spacious, and you can customize room service. Breakfast is included and parking is free. Robert was a great cook, chatted with guests, and kept the breakfast area stocked and in good order. Definitely a keeper in the industry! Just grab salt and pepper packets if you want to season things your way.
