The caretakers who live on site would answer the door even late at night. One evening, after about four inches of snow fell, they came out at 10 p.m. and shoveled the guests' cars free. The manager was kind, too. I stayed a few days while working at dartmouth college and really loved the place. The room was very clean, and the campus is only about two or three miles away, which was really cool.

The sunset views were beautiful, and it was quiet and peaceful at night despite being close to restaurants and attractions. Sunset Motor Inn was a cozy, affordable place to relax after a long travel day. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, with nice attention to detail. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. Highly recommend it for anyone passing through or looking for a getaway.

Quiet, with no road noise, and surrounded by trees and the river. The bed, pillows, shower head, and towels have all been updated and are first class. The bedside table has a pull-out shelf that can serve both beds. There was a nice breakfast selection with fruit and a waffle maker, and the staff were pleasant. Relaxing and comfortable. We'll be back.

The bathroom needed a more thorough clean. There was dirt around the toilet hinges, which I wiped down myself with Clorox wipes. By the toilet paper holder, I could see toothpaste and something else I couldn't identify. The staff were very kind, though, and that definitely deserves to be said.

The bathroom was in very bad shape. The toilet flush barely worked, the sink was clogged, and the shower had very low water pressure.
