The highway noise was pretty loud, and the room wasn’t worth what I paid. I asked the manager to have it cleaned while I went shopping, but it hadn’t been serviced when I got back. I asked again, and when I returned, staff had left towels and bathroom tissue on the bed. The garbage was still full and the bed wasn’t made.

The weekly rate didn’t seem fair. The tub drained so badly that I was standing in gross water while showering. Then, as I was leaving, I spotted a large cockroach on the wall, looking ready to climb into my laundry basket and deploy on its mission.

I went in expecting the worst because of the reviews, but my wife and I actually enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked, and the water was good. I travel a lot, with 30,000 miles on my 2025 car, and had no issues here. The night and sleep were great, except for the idiot parked next to me who slammed his car door into mine because he can’t park. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but I wouldn’t use other people’s Wi-Fi anyway.

The cable TV was the one good thing. The Wi-Fi was very poor, though. The rooms and bathrooms were nasty, with roaches, dirty towels and bedcovers. The sign says there are kitchenettes, but there aren’t any. I had to ask for a blanket for four hours straight before I got one. Luckily I had my own things and supplies. The staff were rude and service was poor. The managers and owners ride better than the motel looks. In my view this place should be shut down. #WESTMEMPHIS..ROADWAY..INN.. The room felt like a home away from home, spacious and comfortable, and the service was wonderful. It helped that the rates were low too. The hotel is about five minutes from Memphis.
