Studio 6 Suites West Memphis, AR - Memphis

This felt like a bit of a scam, and I wouldn’t recommend the place. A couple of weeks before my arrival, the manager contacted me to say my room wouldn’t have hot water. I could cancel or pay $90 more to upgrade to a suite. I didn’t see why I should pay extra for their problem, but I only needed somewhere to sleep and said I’d be fine. Then, an hour before I arrived, the front desk called to say the room couldn’t be used. When I got upset, she offered the suite for $25, again because there was no hot water. I said that was fine, but when I checked in, the room was disgusting, and I pretty much had to pay extra. The suite wasn’t worth it. I’d booked months in advance.

This seems to be a remodel of a roach motel, though I can’t say whether the work was worthwhile since they didn’t seem to know if they had rooms available. They said they did when I pulled up, then told me at the counter that they didn’t. Good luck finding the place, too. The road sign and the smaller sign out front still say “extend stay@suites,” not “motel 6”.

The people are really nice, and Hotel 6 is a good place to stay.

This is a really spacious place, almost like an apartment, with two bedrooms and two beds in each. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, and there’s a kitchen and living room too. It’s a great place to visit with friends or family.
