I really wish I’d known about the construction before booking. It didn’t feel safe, especially for kids. Power tools were left plugged in on the walkway, and there were metal shavings all over it. Workers spent the day on the second-floor balcony, with no curtains on our living-room windows, so they could see straight in. One morning, someone was on the private third-floor balcony. Workers also smoked and left cigarette butts all over the balcony.

The location was great, but the amenities weren’t. We rented condo 116 from July 22 to July 26 for a family vacation through Realjoy Realty or Realty vacations, and had a whole list of problems. The listing said central air, but it didn’t work. There were window units instead, and no one had told us. The upstairs unit leaked hot exhaust back into the room, making it sweltering and 79% humid. We had to give up the upstairs bedroom and sleep downstairs. Maintenance didn’t know what to do and duct-taped the vent, which didn’t help. There were serious water leaks and mold, too. A condenser was leaking badly into the garage, where there was a huge amount of mold. Inside, the air was humid and the couches were damp and moldy. General maintenance was shoddy at best. The HOA charges $600 per month per unit, yet most of the siding at the back was rotting, the floors squeaked, and the back decks didn’t drain, leaving standing water and mosquitoes.

A nice place to stay on vacation, and it’s pretty close to the beach.

The beach is steps away, and we could walk right out onto it whenever we wanted. Our unit was clean and updated, with cold AC, a private garage, granite kitchen counters, and new appliances. It’s a quiet end of the beach and wasn’t crowded at all. We’ll stay again!
