Days Inn by Wyndham West Point

After a long day at work, it was great to return to a clean-smelling room with fresh towels. Daily housekeeping was terrific, and the staff I dealt with were friendly and accommodating. The property and room were quiet and very clean. I appreciated the ice-cold air, reasonably sized fridge, and clean, working microwave. There are plenty of food choices within two miles. Breakfast was limited and there wasn't any coffee, which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. I'd stay again without hesitation.

It's okay if all you need is somewhere to sleep. The place needs renovating, with old furniture and appliances, and there's no breakfast. It doesn't work well for anything beyond that.

The bed and pillows were both really comfortable, and the rooms were clean. There was truck parking and the service was excellent. No restaurants are within walking distance, but delivery pizza worked out fine, so it wasn't much of an issue.

This place is run down, and the website photos make it look much better than it is. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. The room smelled awful when I walked in. Switching the AC to cold and turning on the fan made the unit shut itself off; I don't mind some warmth, but hoped air movement might help with the smell. Since the room opened to the outside and I was traveling alone in an unfamiliar state, not having a second lock left me feeling unsafe. The towels were badly worn, with holes in the hand towels and what looked like mold along the bottom of the bath towels. The chairs and cable were dirty. Breakfast was advertised until 10 a.m., but at 8 there was nothing, not even a pot of coffee. The location just off US 45 wasn't bad, but they don't provide what they say they do.
