Kiki made my stay at the Courtyard Marriott in West Springfield feel special. She was welcoming and professional right from check-in, and helped with room details and local suggestions. Her upbeat manner and care made me feel appreciated. I’d gladly recommend staying here, especially if Kiki is there to greet you.

The room was clean, but the worn mattress had a dip I kept sinking into, so I barely slept. The coffee was awful, and they didn’t even have flavored creamer to improve it. After I asked the front desk where the coffee was, made a cup, and started back upstairs, the same employee asked how I planned to pay the $2.66. Why risk losing guests over that? I won’t return to this location or another Courtyard if this is what to expect.

Whenever I’m in or passing through West Springfield, MA, this will be my first choice. It’s close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, and the suites are clean and elegant. There’s a business area, bistro, cantina, gym, swimming pool, and bar. The bistro has four roomy booths plus plenty of seating for two.

While I was out of state, my husband had a medical emergency at this hotel. KIKI stayed with him through the night, kept an eye on him for me, and called an ambulance in time to get him to the hospital. He would have died without her help, literally. I’m eternally grateful to her, and glad this happened at this hotel. The staff here are amazing.

Sunday was a real highlight of our stay in Springfield. She asked what we had planned, told us about local attractions, and made us one of the best cups of coffee we’ve had. She was warm and attentive, and her hospitality added a lot to the visit. The hotel itself was clean and well cared for, with a heated pool and a great fitness area.
