Quality Inn West Springfield

Please don't come here. During check-in, three other homeless people were also checking in. That wouldn't have bothered me if the rooms were actually maintained and clean. The whole place looked worse than a motel, and I found a spider and three flies in my room. Saving a couple of dollars isn't worth it. Staying here was our biggest mistake.

The bed was awful, with springs poking into my back and big dips in the mattress. The shower never got beyond lukewarm, even though the bathroom itself looked nice. There was no sound buffering either, so you could hear everything from other rooms. We heard domestic disputes and doors slamming on both nights. I chose the hotel for its affordable price and free breakfast. The breakfast was decent, especially the waffle makers, and the on-demand movie and TV selection was the best I've seen at a hotel. There may be potential here, but it needs upgrades and improvements to make for a really good stay.

I paid 367, and this motel wasn't worth it. The room was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke from the neighbors next door. People here had no respect, kids kept running around, and the dog next door barked all night. I wouldn't come back. I also found hair in my breakfast yesterday. I told the woman, but she seemed not to care. The hospitality, breakfast, and room cleanliness were all bad. The photos really didn't show how it was.

The host was friendly, though a little blunt when we talked. It wasn't bad, just not much personality. The place felt comfortable and safe, and I'd stay again if I'm in the area. I'd feel fine recommending it to others too.
