WorldMark West Yellowstone

The crock pot came in handy for cooking, and we’d arranged to have it ahead of time. The carts made moving in and out much easier, and we were glad the pool and hot tubs were open. We had a really nice stay at Worldmark. The toilet in our room was tiny, we got locked out early on, and we couldn’t get the dishwasher working.

We had eight people and all slept comfortably. The place was clean and had what we needed. The kitchenette was useful, especially with its full-size fridge, range, and dishwasher. If you find you’re missing something, there’s a store about a block away.

The location made it easy to walk to attractions around West Yellowstone, and winter Snowcoach tours to Yellowstone are nearby. Big Sky ski resort is about an hour’s drive. The rooms, pool, and kids’ gamerooms were excellent, and the service was friendly, as we’ve found at other WorldMark resorts.

You can walk to everything from here, and the resort sits right at the park entrance at one end of town. There’s coffee and hot water in the entrance, plus free DVDs for snow days. The kitchen has what you need to cook, which may come in handy with the prices around here. The two-bedroom unit was a relief after a night in a rented room in Jackson Hole. As a timeshare owner, I wasn’t disappointed. It was clean, comfortable, and up to date. We were on the second floor, though, and we’ve often had trouble with heavy footsteps above us. I asked for the third floor, but Roxanne said there weren’t any twin beds up there. I’m not sure why she thought we needed twin beds with an adult daughter in a two-bedroom. There’s no midweek cleaning option, and you have to take your own trash out. Still, the good outweighed the drawbacks. Happy camper here!
