Courtyard Burlington Mt. Holly Westampton

We’ve used this hotel all the time for our company’s work supporting service members at Ft Dix, but that ends tonight. Our staff arrived and couldn’t check in because of a room issue on the hotel’s side, even though we had confirmation numbers. Two of my dentists waited in the lobby while our travel team tried to find them another hotel. During that time, a guest came down reporting bed bugs and was immediately moved to a new room, so I guess the hotel wasn’t actually sold out. When our travel team called, the hotel was rude and offered no fix for its mistake. We’ve added it to our company’s Do Not Use list.

The staff were amazing, and the hotel was mostly clean, but we wasted over $250 on a night when we couldn’t sleep. My husband and I had been traveling all day for a baby shower and just wanted a quick nap. A large group of children in town for an event screamed and ran up and down the halls, including above our room where they ran, jumped, and flipped for hours. I called the front desk four times asking them to deal with it. We nearly checked out and found another hotel, but we were exhausted. I wish we’d been told ahead of time that there would be so many kids around. We definitely wouldn’t have booked here. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and kind when I checked in yesterday.

We’ve stayed here twice in two months and have already booked another visit this month. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and it took just 30 minutes to reach the Philadelphia Airport. The location is awesome, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Whenever we asked for something, it arrived right away. One night we had a small issue, and Mr. Keith Richardson at the front desk went above and beyond. He was professional, personable, and responsive, making sure we were comfortable. We appreciated it, and he’s one reason we decided to book again.

I work in the hotel industry, and this stay was extremely disappointing. The place wasn’t clean, and on arrival we were put in a dirty room and had to ask to switch. I couldn’t feel comfortable using the towels because there were red hairs on them. The staff didn’t seem properly trained, and there was no hospitality. The front desk agent was also very rude when we discussed late checkout. We were first told late checkout was available with a membership. After I gave them my number, they said only regular checkout was possible. If the team doesn’t want to work in hospitality or treat guests kindly, they shouldn’t be in this business.
