Hampton Inn Boston - Westborough

A solid 4 out of 5. The place is kept up, but it feels pretty old. The rooms are clean, though they have an odd smell, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is modest and acceptable, much like other Hilton properties. Fine for a visit to the area, as long as you're not expecting anything big.

The staff are friendly and helpful, but they nickel and dime you. There's no microwave in the room, and the one by the desk looks like it's from the 70s. Room service comes every other day, and the Wi-Fi is so bad it might as well be dial-up. My company paid $3,000 for two weeks. I'll be advising them to find a better deal next time.

Lots of boutique hotels fuss over surface level gimmicks and still miss the basics. It's nice to find a hotel that gets the core needs right.

I had a good stay, and the staff were very helpful. My complaints go to Mills and Stephanie.
