Westborough Inn

The Inn was only about a half-hour drive from the Palladium, which worked out well since my husband and I were coming from out of state for a concert and didn't want to pay the higher prices closer by. The two people who greeted us last night and this morning were very nice. Our room was clean, probably the cleanest I've had, and I'm picky about hotel rooms. The building smelled clean too, and it was quiet. There are several restaurants and gas stations within walking distance, next to a pretty cute neighborhood. I'd recommend staying here, and we'll be back next time we come down! 😄

For one night, the room and bathroom were pleasant, clean, and renovated. The front desk clerk was nice, and even though the lot is small, there were plenty of spaces. The public areas were VERY dirty, including the carpet on the way to the room, so I couldn't give it five stars. Room #20 faces the parking lot, with a bright floodlight right beside the window. The blackout curtains left part of the window uncovered and had odd pinholes throughout, so it felt like a lamp was on all night. The bathroom fan was noisy too, and had to be switched on every time I went in.

Really nice quick stay. The room was clean and new, the bed was so comfortable, and it was quiet enough that it felt like sleeping at home. I slept like a baby for 10 crazy hours. Check-in and checkout were easy.

We needed a room at the last minute while some kind of convention was going on, so options were scarce. The rating looked good and we booked online. Getting to the third floor meant walking up the stairs, since there was no elevator. The carpet was filthy, like something from a mechanic's shop. In the room, there was a stack of pizza boxes and the bed had been used. After walking back down three flights, the attendant said there were no clean rooms available. He locked himself in a room and called the owner. I wanted to cancel, but he said he couldn't do anything because we had booked through booking.com. When I called booking.com, an AI wouldn't let me speak to a person. I called the bank to dispute the charge. This place cost me a few frustrating hours.
