Check-in was easy, and the soaps and conditioner were high quality. The Elms is a beautiful property with plenty of character. Our room was charming, comfortable, and clean, and the shared areas were tidy, well stocked, and well cared for. A 10/10 stay, highly recommend.

I spent a while wandering around and enjoying coffee on the back porch. The room was just right, and we plan to return. This place has an amazing history, and if you pause to take in the craftsmanship of a house from this era, it's pretty remarkable. It feels like stepping back in time. Excellent value and an excellent host.

We played several rounds of pool and really appreciated the coffee and tea set out in the mornings. The house is beautiful, with high ceilings and a vintage feel. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and the price was right. You can hear traffic from the busy road, but there was a white noise machine in the room to cover some of it. The room felt a little cool, though the provided space heater warmed it up. We didn't get weather for the spacious porch and its comfy seating. There's no TV, so bring a book or board games for winding down at the end of the day. Highly recommend 😃

We spent a lot of money for a room that left us feeling bruised. The bed was so stiff that my spine hurt, and I'm not even 20. The house was almost as cold inside as outside, with no heaters or extra blankets, so we slept in our coats. The place was damp and dusty, too, and the shared bathrooms had flimsy doors. We weren't allowed to use the kitchens, and there was nowhere to store food. The inside felt gloomy and nearly abandoned, with no lights on. In our room, dead leaves and other trash were caught in the windows, and only one window opened. Some things were clean, but many shelves and dressers were dusty, with clutter scattered around. Outside looked worn and dirty, unlike the pretty antique house and green lawn in the Airbnb pictures. The lawn looked that way because of camera angles, as it was right beside a busy road. My mom and I gave it a try anyway, but were very disappointed. Don't trust the photos or five-star reviews blindly.

After a day out, the pool table room was a great place to unwind. The shared spaces were clean and cozy, and the place is very well kept. My booked bedroom was wonderful, with a private bathroom and a desk for working. Thanks for such a great experience.
