Dark Sky Suites

The body wash, conditioner, and shampoo dispenser was amazing. I’d love to know what products they use. I’ve stayed here twice for a total of three days, and it had what I needed, with downtown close by. The kitchen could use a few more items, though what’s there is adequate. Out of all the hotels and motels I’ve stayed at for work or vacation, this is the best.

We’d definitely stay again. Parking was easy, and being near Smokey Jack Observatory was handy. The place was clean and comfortable, though the air conditioner was a bit loud, especially since it was unusually warm during our stay. I didn’t use the wifi because our phones had good service. The short term rental agreement came as a surprise, and the automated check-in, check-out, and information system worked fine, though it felt more suited to an urban hotel.

I paid for the room when I booked, and found excellent restaurants just a short walk away. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but the bathroom vent didn’t move air and was probably blocked. The AC made a lot of noise when it started, and the ceiling fan clicked. I’d hoped to see stars at night, but the balcony and street lights were too bright. There was no human interaction during booking, check-in, or check-out.

The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the large fridge and the treats left by mgmt. The room was extremely clean and warm, which was nice. The corner shower was a little small but worked fine. The Vizio TV was frustratingly slow to respond to each button press, but I still had a positive stay and would come back.
