We found a nice refuge here during a terrible situation, after a snowstorm and power outage sent me here with family and our dog. The rooms are basic but very clean, with nice TVs, a microwave, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was spotless, which matters a lot to me since I'm very picky about bathrooms. There was an indoor pool, though I couldn't find an ice machine. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the walls and floors were thin. It sounded like an elephant was rampaging upstairs, but we didn't hear anything from our floor.

Every staff member greeted us with a good morning, hello, or some other friendly, positive exchange. They were extremely, extremely friendly. We had a very nice stay, and being close to the highway didn't mean we heard the noise. I'll choose LaQuinta in Stonington again on our next visit.

This hotel is a great value, and we would definitely come back. Christie and Dana were so sweet and made us feel at home. The hotel and rooms were clean. When I asked if the pool could be warmer for my kids, Dana got right up and made it happen.

The check-in desk person was very helpful and gave us a nice welcome. The hotel was clean, though the heater was a bit loud. I find it a bit much to keep asking for tips on the checkout page. Pay your employees, you're a large company. Tipping in the US has gotten out of hand.

Easy check-in and check-out, and the room was clean. We had a small problem with the TV, but it was fixed in about ten minutes. The woman at breakfast was very pleasant. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm going to a function at Foxwoods.
