The Coast

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I couldn’t find exterior photos, and wondered if the modest outside might put people off. It’s a motel, but a very clean, well-maintained one, clearly remodeled recently and looking nice inside and out. It was super cheap and conveniently located. The bed, linens, and pillows were among the most comfortable I’ve slept in, even compared with the luxury hotels I often use for work. Five stars for doing what it sets out to do. If you’re after a luxury hotel, go somewhere else.

The owners and management are friendly, sociable, and ready to help. The cleaning lady is so sweet and takes the time to make the room look brand new, even when you’re staying more than one night. The Coast is an upscale-feeling motel that’s clean and quiet, with thoughtful room design and really comfortable beds. There’s a roomy freezer section in the fridge, a huge flat screen TV on the wall, and a state-of-the-art shower. Thanks, The Coast. Sweet dreams 😊

New ownership has given the place a fresh, modern update, with great rain showerheads and huge modern TVs. If you’ve stayed here before, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating, and our small group made good use of the picnic area during a fishing outing.

The updated rooms were really nice, so don’t judge the place by how it looks outside. We stayed one night and would have stayed longer if we’d had time. I did kill two little spiders in the room, but for the price I can’t complain much. We locked the door, though I’d feel even safer with a chain on it. Good hospitality, and I’d stay again.
