The room was clean and a good size, with comfy beds, a small fridge/freezer, and a microwave. The location was handy for the beaches, and staff were friendly. Breakfast was the usual continental spread of muffins, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and juice. We prefer a bigger breakfast, and the coffee wasn’t to my liking. There’s a delicious nearby restaurant, Venice, that made a nice dinner option.

Winnapaug Inn worked out great for us during the Rhythm & Roots Festival, only about 10 minutes from the venue. We had a clean, quiet, spacious room with double king beds and a terrace facing the green of a hole on the golf course. Breakfast was included each morning: muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and milk. Great festival! If you’d rather not camp, stay at the Inn. It was ideal for what we needed. We didn’t use the pool, golf, fitness center, or other facilities.

The room was a little dated, but clean and spacious, with a cute balcony and chairs. For a last-minute booking, it was hard to find affordable lodging with an outdoor pool, so this was a nice find. The pool area was great, and though the hot tub was lukewarm, I still enjoyed it on a cloudy day when it wasn’t quite warm enough to swim. Tables with umbrellas let me stay dry through a brief rain shower, and there was a nice sundeck with tables as well. Golfers will also find a course just a minute’s drive away. I’d stay again if I’m in the area. Enjoyed my one-night visit to Winnapaug Inn.

We usually stay on the beach, but this place had everything we wanted and we’ll come back. We spent a couple of nights and were pleasantly surprised by the large rooms, pool, and continental breakfast. A friendly woman greeted us at breakfast, and the front desk staff were very helpful. The grounds were pretty and well kept, with a nice terrace overlooking the golf course. It’s only minutes from the beach, good value, and worth trying as a hidden gem.

The golf course view was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, and the hotel was very clean. Venice was even better: the food was so good, everything was made fresh, and they still have MAMA recipes passed down for generations. ty ty and Jen was a great host!!! Your truly Tammy & Ismael Medina
