Hampton Inn & Suites Westford-Chelmsford

We booked four rooms months in advance and were told they could be close together. When we arrived, they tried to put us on separate floors. Breakfast was empty, with no food out at all, not even milk. We waited 40 minutes for eggs and bacon to be replenished, then gave up. There were no pool towels two days in a row. This location seems completely unprepared for guests. If all you need is four walls and a roof, that’s what you’ll get. You’d be better off at a cheap motel.

The location is peaceful and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice, though a bit dated. What really didn’t work for us was the climate control: you can’t set the fan to circulate air, and the lowest cooling setting is 68 degrees. I called the front desk after trying the controller myself, and was told other guests had asked about this too; maintenance had even come to look at the new system. If you need air moving around your room, you may want to stay somewhere else.

The accommodations were very nice, and the included breakfast was the best. The staff were wonderful. It’s a little off the main road, but restaurants and shops are easy to reach.

The room was in tiptop shape, and everyone on staff was helpful and so friendly. I honestly can’t think of anything to complain about. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in by far, and I’d recommend it to anyone I know. Thanks to all the staff, you guys are awesome!
