Westlake Village Inn

The Christmas decorations were splendid, and the wine cellar and outdoor dining were lovely parts of the experience. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, with spacious, clean, well appointed rooms. The customer service was superb and the staff were very friendly. A delightful place to stay, highly recommended.

The restaurant options had a delicious variety, so it was hard to choose. The cocktails were phenomenal, and there’s so much to see and taste around the resort. You could easily stay on the property the whole time, though it’s centrally located near plenty of other amenities if you need them. I loved the facilities, including the cute pool, plenty of seating and shade, and the hot tub. The pool wasn’t heated, but it wasn’t ice cold either, and felt comfortable in 80 degree weather. We came for a ticketed event and wanted to make use of the convenient location. My stay felt much too short because there was so much to enjoy. As a disabled person, I’d requested a quiet room on a non-ground level, but hadn’t realized there were no elevators. Even the bellman carrying our luggage had to use the stairs. Taking my time, the stairs were manageable for me despite my limited mobility. My spacious, quiet room had a nice courtyard view and a balcony with a table and chairs. The bed and room comfort were a 10. I wish there were updated charging stations in the room, but that’s minor. Bring a wall plug.

The venue and hotel were beautiful, and we enjoyed the property. My brother got married here a few months ago, and Dana, the hotel wedding coordinator, was rude and short with the bride and groom and with my sister and me while we helped set up the room. She was dismissive, snarky, cold, and unhelpful all day. I felt awful for my sister-in-law, who is very sweet and easygoing. It’s unfortunate that the hotel continues to let Dana represent its wedding department. She’s doing the hotel a disservice.

We were in town for a friend’s wedding ceremony at the hotel, and the whole stay was amazing. The beds were very comfortable, medium firm just the way I like them. The food was incredible, and the poolside servers and bartenders were great. We also ate at Louie’s, where Audrey was wonderful and the food was excellent. The woman who checked my husband and me in was very sweet and professional. We’d definitely recommend staying here!
