Hyatt Place Cleveland Crocker Park

The breakfast was amazing, and there’s a nice workout room open around the clock. The staff were fantastic and happy to make small accommodations. Crocker Park is a great location, with a yardbird and a Texas de Brazil just a short distance away. I’ll stay here again when I’m in the area.

The room was comfortable, with clean bedding, a great shower with strong pressure, and good hot water. The facility was clean too, and the staff were accommodating. Breakfast and coffee were good. The fitness room is tiny, though. There are only two destination car chargers in the garage, and both were in use, so they need more. There’s a decent restaurant next door, with the kitchen open until 10:30 p.m.

The location is great, the room was clean except for a few wall scuffs, and there’s a pool onsite. But the shower pressure was poor. I tried the different shower head settings, and it went from okay to weak to forget it. Check-in was the other problem. Julius told me about the pool and breakfast hours, but there was no greeting or welcome. His tone felt like he wanted to get me out of the way as quickly as possible, and I don’t know why. I wondered if he was rushing because a group had come in, but nobody was behind me. Maybe another person will check you in and give you a better start to your stay. It was my first stay and probably my last, though not because of the star rating.

The location is why we’d stay again. Check-in and checkout were easy, and both the staff and service were great. We stayed in a suite, so I can’t speak to the other rooms. It was very clean, but for the price of a suite, we expected more, especially from Hyatt.
