Motel 6 Westley, CA

Clean rooms, no smoke smell, and really friendly staff. It worked perfectly for my trip.

I'd stay away from this Motel 6 unless you want a terrible experience with the staff. They didn't apologize for their mistakes or greet me at the desk, checked me into a room that already had people in it, and laughed at me. The lobby was locked when I arrived, leaving me outside in 100-degree heat. There were underage kids working at the front desk, the pool was closed, and people were sleeping in cars. My debit card was nearly charged without my authorization. The bathroom faucet was broken, and the TV had static and was missing channels.

The room I had needed repairs and a proper deep clean. It's an old motel, and I won't stay there again.

The location was great for truck drivers, with plenty of parking, and other visitors had lots of spaces too. There was an am pm and an Indian restaurant right there that I've been wanting to try. The woman who helped me was friendly and helpful, and the service was good. They could keep more supplies on hand, though. I asked for batteries for the remote and she didn't have any. The refrigerator was leaking, and its door wouldn't stay shut. For the affordable price and location, better service would help improve the building. I've stayed in worse places.
