Loge is well run and supports an active community culture. The hotel manager is dedicated and really cares about the operation and guest experience. Keeping employees like Emily is a true sign of a great company. Thank you, Loge!

I was told there’s no one on the property from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. when I asked whether security or anyone else was there after 5. The reply was, “No, we’re contactless check in.” That wasn’t disclosed, and I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known. Contactless check-in doesn’t necessarily mean nobody is on site. When I pointed that out, I was told, “I’m not responsible for website copy.” Hmm, okay. I texted the number for help and got no response. They also charged an amenity fee even though no amenities were offered, but did refund it when I raised the issue.

Don’t book through TripAdvisor. The room itself was really nice, and my kids loved it. The staff were respectful and doing their best to help, so I’ll come back. I don’t think the problems were intentional. Before arrival they sent a key code and said there were issues with the keypad, so they’d left a key out. Thankfully the code worked, but there was no physical key. The pullout bed was dirty with sand and dirt, the TV remote didn’t work so we couldn’t use the TV, and there was black hair on the shower walls even though none of us have black hair. In the middle of the night, we discovered the bathroom sink was leaking and had warped the floor. I emailed at 1 a.m.; by 7 or 8 they’d replied, apologized that the room hadn’t been fully cleaned, and said they hadn’t known about the leak. We’re now trying to get a partial refund. Booking through TripAdvisor made getting a refund a mess, so I’m hoping for some kind of credit to use later.

Emily really helped make the stay feel easy, even with the resort busy. She was so thoughtful and attentive. There were plenty of clean, comfortable spots to sit outside and take in the views, plus lots of choices around the property. The coffee was amazing too.
