Olga and Dimitri made the stay feel special through how much they put into looking after their guests. They’re hands-on and work hard to make people feel pampered, which isn’t true of every B&B owner. The historic building is impressive inside and out, and breakfast was a feast: an omelet, bacon, a beautifully overflowing fruit cup, homemade blueberry pancakes with syrup and whipped cream, plus several drinks. Olga cooked it and Dimitri served it. Thanks to them and the rest of the staff. I wish I could give you 10 stars instead of 5.

We stayed in the Jane Robbins room, which was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious: fruit salad, an omelet with toast and bacon, and blueberry pancakes. The furnishings and decor are carefully done, right down to the luxurious towels and robes. The house is just as beautiful inside as outside, and it really feels like stepping back in time. My daughter and I were nearby and chose this stunning Bed and Breakfast. It exceeded what I expected. If you get the chance, stay here, and take a walk along Main Street to visit the lovely shops.

Breakfast was a highlight. Olga presented the food beautifully, and every course tasted delicious. We also found our room very clean and comfortable, and both the house and grounds are gorgeous. My husband and I visited Old Wethersfield for the first time earlier this month and spent one night at the Silas Robbins house. The innkeepers' attention to detail around the property is easy to appreciate. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

You can tell Olga loves the home. She explained the refurbishment in detail, and she was very sweet to let us take pictures on the porch and in the great room. Thanks again, Olga.

The breakfast is stunning, as other guests have said, and the owners are real masters of hospitality. They’ve thought through every detail. The Silas W Robbin’s house is a special place to visit and stay, and the price is totally reasonable. Each room has museum-quality antiques and is decorated impeccably, especially the fabrics in the new parlor. Somehow it still feels welcoming and comfortable. If you get the chance, take it.
