We stayed overnight over Labor Day weekend after a couple of days at glendo. Things weren't horrible until we left. They charged us $25 for a pillow my son had left in the breakfast area the morning we checked out. I also left narcotic medication in the room fridge. A woman named Casey said she had it, but told me I'd have to send her personally a money order to cover the post office cost if I wanted it mailed back. She said she couldn't charge it to our card and wouldn't accept Cash App or Venmo. It felt as if she was making it as difficult as possible to get it back. We've called about 10 times to speak to the owner, who we think lives on the premises, but he's never there and never returns our calls. I asked another employee to check the fridge, and he said the medication wasn't there. That makes me think Casey might be lying and took it to sell or use. I'm dealing with the police about it now. I wish we'd stayed somewhere else. Be careful not to leave things there, because you might never get them back.

Whenever I'm in the area, I stay here. The service is amazing as usual, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there's a good breakfast and nice gym. The list goes on. Definitely worth the money. If you're around, look no further than heartland inn & suites.

I stayed a week for work, and it's a very nice place. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was super clean. Only downside was Tesla drivers glaring at you as you cross the parking lot to your nice room while they sit there charging their batteries.

The hotel ought to be called “Crap-land Hotel”. The front door is locked, so we've had to walk all the way around to get in. The lobby bathroom is locked too. Staff said it wasn't functioning, but the signs on the door say otherwise. They're just lazy.

If you're stopping here to charge your EV, be aware that there is no restroom access. You'll have to cross the highway to find one. From a business standpoint, that seems like a missed opportunity. EV chargers often bring higher-income travelers, statistically, who might become hotel guests later. A policy like this could hurt the brand's public image. They might consider allowing restroom access with a purchase.
