There was a party behind the hotel, people were looking into our first-floor room, and the window had only one lock and no screen. We also heard there had been a bed bug problem about five months earlier. The room smelled strongly musty when we arrived. My husband and 9-year-old son used the pool for about ten minutes before we got dressed and went to dinner. When we returned, we found bodily fluids on the comforter. We asked politely for a refund, explained what we had found, and checked out. Both general managers, a woman and a man, were extremely rude and refused to refund us. They hung up on me and my husband. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, and wouldn't let my pet stay here. We had booked two nights.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, roomy, and great. The pool was clean and comfortable, too. I was in Wheelersburg to see family and stayed for two nights. Everything is close by, with Fred’s right next door. I had a great stay and would choose this place again.

For our annual hunting trip, this spot worked really well. It's close to the highway for getting into and out of town, and there are plenty of nearby places to eat. The price is great for traveling on a budget, and the staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate what you need.

The breakfast room was clean and stayed stocked, and breakfast was better than at most places like this. Even the coffee beat what I've had at other budget hotels. We got checked in quickly without any trouble, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. We liked having a nice shower instead of a tub. The indoor pool looked great, but we were too tired to get in.

The staff were attentive and friendly. We spent some time out back with pizza and beer. Our room was nice and clean, and we were really pleased with how spacious it was.
