Trappers Landing Lodge

There was plenty of good gear to borrow, and the fishing was good too. We rented an ice house for a multi-night trip. It was clean, with good furniture and bedding. Four guys fit snugly but were comfortable. I’m not sure I’d want more than four or five sleeping there for several nights. Great value, and I’d book again.

Jeff was amazing, and every staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Having both an ice house and a lodge worked out perfectly for our family, and we had the best time. One alcohol shooter we left outside in the snow did go missing, but otherwise the place felt safe and family-oriented.

The staff were courteous and knew their stuff, and the accommodations were well kept. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as one of Minnesota’s best resorts.

The staff gave us helpful advice about where to fish and how to get there, and the roads were plowed. Food at the restaurant was mediocre at best, especially for a place that talks itself up as high-end. We went to Charlie's the second night, and the prime rib was awesome.
