Red Carpet Inn

We couldn't stay the night and had to find somewhere else. We'd paid for a room that looked very different from the online pictures, but safety came first. I didn't even take photos because I was afraid something bad might happen. We returned the key and left, disappointed and upset. I wish we'd checked the low ratings and earlier reviews first. I believe the hotel is poorly managed and needs a complete overhaul of cleanliness and management standards. We'd booked one night through Expedia. The place looked abandoned as soon as we arrived. After the receptionist gave us a key, he sent us to the back of the building without mentioning that it had a different name. We were confused and went back to check we had the right place. Outside, dirty clothes and blankets hung from balconies, and the hallway carpet was filthy. Our room smelled of cigarettes, there were roaches, and we didn't feel safe there at all.

I had a pleasant stay here. The motel was comfortable and welcoming, with clean rooms and good service. The staff were professional and cooperative throughout my visit, and it's a convenient, budget-friendly option for travelers.

The receptionist was friendly, and there's free coffee in the main lobby. This is a basic motel and the cheapest option nearby, so you get what you pay for. I stayed two nights before moving to my Airbnb. The hallways and room smelled of mildew and cigarettes. I struggled to open the door with my key and had to throw myself against it several times. Inside, the fridge smelled and didn't work, there were water stains on the ceiling, and the ceiling lights wouldn't come on. There were no fresh towels until I asked for some.

The male staff member at the office took 20 minutes to come to the window when I went to check on my car at 7 a.m. I'd left my key card in the room. He was disrespectful too. I gave him my name and room number and showed my reservation; he reluctantly handed me a spare and confirmed checkout was that day. I don't recommend this place at all. When I arrived, an older East Indian woman working there rolled her eyes when I said hello. The man checking me in said there were no clean rooms and told me to leave and come back in 15 minutes. He also insisted checkout was at 11, even though every posted advertisement said noon. I showed him the ads, but he kept telling me I had to be gone by 11. It was the worst hotel stay I've had, with disrespect and hostility beyond what I expected. They are what's wrong with this planet.
