Fairfield Inn & Suites Fairmont

The room was good, and breakfast was well stocked, clean, and very good. The hot tub was nice. The shower needs fixing, though. More water came out of the stick than the shower head.

I’ve stayed here around a dozen times since 2016. The service is still good, the staff are friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast is on point, showers are hot, and the snack machine has a nice variety. The place is starting to show its age, though. On my recent visit, after about three years away, I was at the end of the second-floor hall. The floor in the room above creaked loudly with every step, and neither the TV nor the HVAC fan could cover it. My own floor felt loose and creaked when I walked in. I’d never had that much noise during my previous stays. I’m happy to return for the service and price, but I’ll request the third floor or a different part of the building.

It’s easy to reach from the interstate, and there’s an Applebee’s next door within walking distance. Breakfast was the usual selection and did the job, with plenty of seating. The rooms were clean but dated, and felt tiny, dark, and cramped. They could only fit two double beds, and even those seemed too big for the space. I definitely didn’t expect that from a Fairfield.

The prices weren’t bad, and the staff were friendly. The hotel seemed fairly new, and the rooms were clean. There’s an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness room. Breakfast wasn’t great, but at least it was available from 6 to 10.
