Red Roof Inn Fairmont

Pets are easy to bring here, and the first one stays free, which is a real plus for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was mostly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and nothing looked especially outdated. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of both the room and hotel.

The room was quiet, with good parking, and the location was convenient. The guy at the front desk was friendly and efficient. There wasn't breakfast, and there were no coffee pot or cups. The door was broken, and the room wasn't very clean, although the mattress and box spring were. We only had a few towels. For the price, it's not bad. No smoking.

Shopping and restaurants are right across the street at the Fairmont WVA location, so there's no need to go far for supplies. I arrived at 1:00 in the morning, tired, and the room still smelled fresh and lovely, like it hadn't just been cleaned. It was clean when I came in. The rooms are set up for pets, with some carpet and plenty of laminate flooring. I prefer tile to carpet since it's easier to keep clean. Being able to bring my fur family is the best part. Kyle and the lady night clerk were friendly and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome. This will be my regular hotel when I visit family in Fairmont.

The driveway had been plowed and treated, which made it feel safe. After a very trying travel day, we found exactly what we needed. The room was warm when we arrived, and the heat and fan kept it comfortable all night. It was also very clean, with wonderful attention to detail from housekeeping. The evening desk attendant, Kyle, I think, got us in quickly and was very helpful. The young night attendant, Link, was friendly and helpful too. Best hotel stay I've had in years.
