We’ve had a really nice two weeks here. Our site was near the Intracoastal Waterway, and the concrete pads are in great shape. The restrooms and laundry room are very clean. The pool isn’t heated, but it’s clean and has plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The camp store is well stocked with basics and souvenirs.

We gave this campground a try after stopping by about a month earlier. The woman in the office was so helpful and friendly that we decided to come back, and we’re glad we did. Our site had a concrete pad, picnic table, and fire pit. The grounds are well kept, nights are extremely quiet, and the staff are very friendly. It’s a nice little campground, with the best rates in Myrtle Beach. We stayed three nights and would definitely recommend it.

Huge thanks to JASON at Hideaway resort. My husband and I couldn’t get the TV working after trying for two hours, so we asked for help. He came out to troubleshoot, then returned and used our remote himself to get everything set up. He really saved us. FIVE stars for him!

We’d stay here again. We spent a week starting Nov 29, 2025, and found the campground quiet, with large sites that were easy to get around. It’s close to restaurants, stores, the beach, and other places, yet the quiet makes it feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere.

We’re at site 24, a roomy pull-through on the waterway, and our 37-foot camper still has space. There’s a fishing pond plus piers on the waterway, and community fire pits and a couple of swings by the water. The pool is nice, pets are welcome, and people are always out walking their dogs. Golf carts are welcome too. The gated entrance feels secure, and the service is great. There’s a little store with outdoor, anytime customer access to firewood for $8 a bundle and ice for $3.50 a bag. The water pressure is good, with 50 amp and sewer hookups. They also hold a community potluck dinner on Thanksgiving. It’s a beautiful little campground on the Intracoastal, and we’ll definitely come back.
