The pool was closed without warning, and my granddaughter was very disappointed. We also had a rough stay from the moment we arrived after a 9-hour drive. We booked a larger king suite with a sofa bed, but got a smaller king room without one. After speaking to the manager, the front desk offered a 10% discount and a room with double beds. We don’t fit comfortably in double beds, which is why we booked the king and sofa bed. They wouldn’t let us stay in the small room and bring a rollaway for our granddaughter, so we paid $35 for one in very poor condition. The remote didn’t work, there were two spiders in the room, and the gym was dirty. They kept emailing me to argue about the problems without offering help. At checkout, we found they’d charged full price for a larger room we never got, plus $35 for the awful rollaway. We’ll never return. We usually stay at the Hampton Pine Bluff and have no issues there. It’s very clean and so nice.

If you’re staying near Sheridan/Whitehall, this is your new spot. The staff are amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and both the gym and pool are nice. This hotel is awesome!

Chris was alert and really friendly when we arrived for a middle-of-the-night check-in. He got us through the process quickly, which was great after a long day of driving. Staff seemed friendly and knew their jobs, and checkout was fast and smooth. We stayed on the 4th floor. It was a full hotel, but the noise level was decent. The rooms were clean with hardly any issues. The shower leaked from the front onto the floor and probably just needs to be re-caulked. Breakfast was decent both days, with plenty stocked and a normal spread of sausage, eggs, a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast sandwiches. Nothing to rave about, but it was a nice change. I’d read several negative reviews about the same serious issue. Maybe it had been fixed, or it didn’t affect our floor.
