I stayed three nights in April and would definitely come back. At $76 total per night, it was great value, with a very nice location that works well as a base for Jim Thorpe and the surrounding area. There are some places to eat within walking distance, though part of the walk is along the road shoulder because there are no sidewalks. The room was a good size, with a standard layout that used the space well. Everything worked, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy. The shower was good, though water pressure was just okay. Walls are thin, so a room facing the parking lot helps cut highway noise. Breakfast was very good by my standards, since cereal or toast is enough for me. I had prepaid, but was charged again; they fixed it. Overall, I'd rate it 7.7/10.

The staff are really helpful and accommodating, and they go above and beyond. If you're an IHG member, they notice right away and do a lot to show their appreciation. The rooms are clean and modern, and the amenities are a great value for the area. It's also close to lots of popular activities in the Poconos. We love staying here, 5/5!

The bedroom was spacious and the hotel is handy to the highway, but the bathroom floor was sticky and still dirty, with lots of hair from a previous guest. The cleaning product had a very strong smell, maybe because it was covering another odor. When we opened the room door, the scent was so overwhelming we had to leave the windows open for over an hour to avoid an allergic reaction. It still lingered, so we slept with the window open all night.

We arrived during a snowstorm, and Lauren and Laurie went above and beyond to get us settled and make us feel at home. That's exactly how a hotel welcome should feel. Excellent service from the whole team, thank you.

The location is out in the middle of nowhere, but I'd absolutely stay here again, all things being equal. The room looked and felt quite modern, and as a cautious traveler who's always worried about bedbugs, I found zero evidence of them. With the metal bed frames, I couldn't see where they would live anyway. Breakfast was meager but enough, and we ate in the common area. My one gripe is the shower cleanliness. It wasn't terrible, but I expected better.
