The waffles were good, and I liked having toppings for them, but the rest of breakfast was disappointing. The sausage was rock hard and the eggs were cold. My husband and I wanted a night away and a nice breakfast, but it didn’t feel like an upgrade from our usual place. The king bed was comfortable, though it only had four tiny pillows and there weren’t any extras. I skipped the bath I’d planned because the tub looked old and uninviting. For the quality, it felt a little overpriced. We could’ve spent half as much for the same thing.

I was charged for a room, but when I asked to move to a better one, they said they couldn’t do it. They also said extending my stay to get a new room would mean another $150 security deposit. The room I got was a handicap room, with a sunken-in bed that felt like a 30-year-old mattress from Motel6. The bed was extremely small, not even queen size. The prices are too high, the beds are totally uncomfortable, and the customer service was ridiculous. I’m beyond pissed off and will never come back. Stay clear and go to Hilton Garden Inn for better comfort.

We were charged a parking fee at checkout even though nobody had asked if we had a car. Another couple traveling with us got their room checked out a day early because they couldn’t answer the hotel’s call. Their reservation clearly had another day, but the hotel got confused, bagged all their stuff, and removed it. That’s the kind of mess we ran into. We’d stayed here years ago and it was much better; staff mentioned there may have been new ownership or something. Our room was in poor shape, with dents, scratches, and dings on the walls. The heat and AC barely worked regardless of the setting, and the bathroom ventilation didn’t work, so it got really steamy. Breakfast was low-end. The front desk staff were nice, but they were out of things like spare toothbrushes. Renovations were happening during a busy weekend. Probably the worst Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at. Hilton should look into this owner/operator.

We showed up at 3 and were told our rooms weren’t ready. We went off to eat and explore, came back at 7, and still had no room. We’d booked two rooms, but they put us far apart, and when my buddy needed extra pillows, they said they had none left. The service and the whole experience were bad enough that I won’t return. The location was good, but this was a terrible Hampton. I thought the one in Dallas was bad, but this was much worse. The garbage cans around the place were overflowing, and the complimentary coffee was cold. Someone heating fish in the lobby microwave stunk up the whole place. Also, seeing a 300-pound lady in a dress ten sizes too small first thing in the morning wasn’t what I wanted.

The hotel is outdated, and there was a lot of traffic noise outside. My room’s thermostat was barely attached to the wall and didn’t work at all. The AC didn’t work, so with no air circulation the room got extremely humid in the middle of the night. My travel partner’s room had holes near the ceiling where it looked like work had been done and the walls never fixed. I’ve seen reviews mention AC problems over the past year, so this seems to be a recurring issue. The gentleman at the desk yesterday evening was very nice when we arrived, and the morning desk woman was nice too. We’re shocked Hilton would let this hotel remain a Hilton property.
