Residence Inn White Plains Westchester County

This was my second stay, and the rooms are roomy enough to work comfortably at the desk or use the kitchenette. The hotel is near just about everything in White Plains, and breakfast has a nice range of choices. One night my room was extremely cold. The A/C setup wouldn't let me raise it to 70 degrees or above, and it wasn't a heater. Miguel from maintenance was accommodating and offered ways to manage the first night.

A great choice for White Plains and nearby areas. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is generous, and the train station is close by. Erica and the front desk team were responsive whenever we needed something and made us feel at home. Outstanding hospitality.

We were seniors and had to manage our bags ourselves because there was nobody to help when we arrived. The room layout was poor, the place was disgusting, and water leaked out of the shower whenever we used it. We had booked in early August and told them what we wanted, but on arrival none of it was there. We expected a king bed and got a queen instead. We're very disappointed. We thought a Marriott would be much nicer.

The first room smelled like urine, and with the hotel sold out I couldn't switch until the next morning. That room change went smoothly, and the replacement was clean and spacious. There also wasn't any dish soap in the hotel. The front desk suggested using dishwasher pods, but that made it impossible to clean my breast milk pumping parts. Be careful and bring your own soap.
