Qualla Cabins and Motel Cherokee near Casino

We paid $220 for one night in a king-size cabin, so it definitely wasn’t cheap. The location is great and very close to the casino, and the river and balcony were nice touches. The inside was fine, but the surrounding area wasn’t. Once I smelled weed outside, I knew I wanted to leave and not come back.

We took a drive through Maggie Valley and Cherokee with one of our dogs and came across this hotel and its cabins. The cabins sit right by the river or creek, and everything was very clean and accommodating. They also had games for kids. Seems like a good place for one night or a few days, and I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

The staff are friendly and ready to help, and there are lodging options with beautiful river views. It’s also conveniently tucked into a great part of town, with access to everything the community offers. If you haven’t had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, put it on your vacation list. For a visit to Cherokee NC, this is a lovely place to stay and enjoy a culture we should all cherish.

There were around 30 live and dead roaches on a glue strip behind the TV and refrigerator cabinet. The room looked clean at first, but finding those was disgusting. We kept our things off the floor. They charged us $207.92, yet I’ve stayed in nicer rooms for $75. The flooring was mismatched, and the baseboards looked like painted pieces of scrap wood. I don’t understand the four-star rating. I’d sleep in my car before staying here again.
