Home2 Suites by Hilton Wichita Falls, TX

The staff are kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and seem well cared for, and breakfast is good. There are good amenities too. I’d love to stay here again.

The lobby was spacious, with plenty of places to sit and get some privacy. There was a pool table and games to play, and breakfast had a wide selection that was well prepared. Our room was clean and set up well, with the expected amount of space, and the room-darkening blinds worked really well. Every staff member we met was happy to help, and we saw them being helpful to others too. This was a really good stop for us. It almost made me want to stay longer, and we’ll come back.

The pool was nice, and breakfast had good options. But the room issues started to show once we settled in during our long weekend visit to someone at Sheppard AFB. My daughter had a separate room and had to ask for fresh bedding because hers smelled pretty bad. My shower doors kept sliding open, even though someone had stuffed paper towels at the bottom to try to hold them shut. My bedding was clean, but the mattress cover had hair and other nasty spots on it. I always check for bed bugs at hotels. The rooms look clean at first, but housekeeping should do a more thorough job.

We appreciated being able to check out at noon, and parking was easy enough despite the lot being on the small side. The hotel was beautiful for a great price, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had lots of choices, and everything seemed fresh.
