Wilbraham Inn

We were a little unsure after picking this motel online, since it’s an older building and that shows in some ways. Still, quite a bit has been updated. Our bathroom, for example, was completely new, with nice tile and new fixtures. It turned out to be clean, well located, and good value for the lower price. Looks can be deceiving. I’d stay again! :)

I chose this place because I wanted to keep the cost down, and ended up pleasantly surprised. The owner’s a great guy who wants guests to have a good stay. They’ve renovated the rooms, and since it’s a smaller place without loads of rooms like the big hotels, they keep it at five stars all the time. I recommend it!

We checked out immediately after finding what looked like fluid stains on the mattress covers under both beds, concealed beneath two sheets that seemed somewhat clean. There was also a huge wet spot on the wall near one bed frame, which was appalling. I’m shocked because many reviews were really good. The woman at the desk was very sweet and helpful, believed us when we showed her pictures, and took care of the issue. The service itself was great.

We booked through Booking.com for $149, and the location worked perfectly for the wedding we were attending at the Great Horse Country Club. It took about 15 minutes to get back to the motel. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the office staff were friendly and accommodating when we checked in and out.
