There's no elevator, though they'll gladly help with bags. The beachfront location is great, and parking is free. When the lot fills up, they give out free passes for street parking right in front.

For years, my friends and family and I spent Memorial Day weekend here. This year's reservation was cancelled, even though we'd put down a deposit on ten rooms plus the penthouse. We were told it was because someone else supposedly wanted to book the hotel. We'd kept coming because it was familiar, but after three years under the new owners, the changes are really showing. Even workers we know said they planned to leave. The pizzeria has new owners too, and it isn't what it used to be. I guess some things turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Cheers to a new year.

The shared feel of the place was a big part of our stay. Other guests were friendly, the staff made sure we had what we needed, and they even cleaned our room again on the first day after we'd tracked in a lot of sand. There's a BBQ area we could cook at, and I think every room has a kitchenette. The hotel was very clean, and the staff and owner did a lot for us. Jerry was helpful when I called to book and offered us several rooms, working around what we needed. The place has recently been painted and renovated, with new furniture, floors, and ACs. It's right on the beach, with great views. Hotels around there seem badly in need of updates. I used AA miles to book here instead of our usual place. Great find!
