The upper observation deck is a wonderful place to catch the sunrise, and the pool is nice. It’s the best location, right at the start of the boardwalk, a couple blocks from the fracture prune, Russos, and the original hassels ice cream. The beds are firm if you like that. The Lysol smell was overwhelming when I walked into the room. Other than that, it’s a great hotel with a great location, great pool, and great memories.

We loved our first summer stay. The owners are great, so friendly and super helpful. The rooms are nice and clean, and it’s a great spot at the north end of the boardwalk, just steps from the beach. We’ll be back!

We were lucky to get a million dollar view, and the room was amazing. The staff were attentive and amazing too. The best part for us was the location, with easy access to everything and the beach and boardwalk only a few hundred feet away. It’s extremely family friendly. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Rob checked us in and was so nice and welcoming. He seemed to genuinely care about how our stay went. The king suite was just right for the two of us, clean, as was the bathroom, and conveniently near the elevator and stairs. It had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, though we only used the fridge. The pool was clean and relaxing, and being right at the start of the boardwalk on 16th and so close to the beach was a huge plus. The only downside was the narrow parking spaces. Some people didn't stay within the lines, which made finding a spot harder. We’ll definitely come back to the Matador when we're in Wildwood again.

The deck was so relaxing, and everyone in the office was extremely nice. The rooms are very clean, and though the bathrooms are older, they’re clean too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
