The location was one of the few things we liked, with the boardwalk and festival nearby and an ice cream and coffee place across the street. The rest of the stay was a letdown, and we won't be back. Our room had barely any outlets, no working phone or safe, and very dated furnishings. The toilet stopped working within half an hour of check-in, and the sink wouldn't shut off completely. The sheets were stained, so we slept using bedding we'd brought from home over the comforter. Housekeeping never cleaned the room. We had to empty the trash ourselves and ask repeatedly for towels. On day two the hotel had run out of towels, and the response was that laundry or housekeeping would bring them when they serviced the room. The pool was dirty and poorly kept. Its loungers were low and unstable, and the railing for getting in and out of the pool was loose. The elevator was slow and hot, and there was only one luggage cart for the whole hotel. Shower pressure was awful, with a choice between freezing or scalding water. It took about 20 minutes for the temperature to become just okay. Front desk staff were mostly unfriendly and unhelpful, except for one older woman. I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The rooms could use some extra attention, though I understand the building is older. What made our stay a plus was how kind and helpful the staff were. We're from out of town, and everyone was very understanding. The door lock was broken, but Jackie from maintenance came right over to help us. Really friendly and accommodating people.

I have asthma, and once I saw the mold and stained linens, I knew I couldn't stay there. There was even a gap above the door jamb where daylight showed through. The hotel refused to refund any of my three nights. I was willing to give up the first night because I was canceling on short notice and asked for just the other two back, but got nothing. I lost close to $700 and had to find another hotel. Do not stay here.

We got to use the pool and restrooms right away even though we arrived a little before the early check-in time they allowed us. The cleaners were great and checked in every day to see if we were okay, including days when our room wasn't scheduled to be cleaned. We stayed five days in a double split room with an ocean view, and the visit was what we expected. The property is older than a lot of Wildwood motels, but you get what you pay for. This was our second stay and we had no complaints. We'll come back again.

Easy check-in and check-out, a very clean room, and a spot close to the beach made for a great weekend with my boyfriend. When I visit wildwood NJ, this is the only hotel I want to stay at!
