Riviera Resorts & Suites

For the last four summers, my whole crew and I have stayed here. The rooms are affordable, service is great, and it's close to the boardwalk. We always have a good stay!

My family has stayed at this hotel several times, so I was really disappointed by how they handled things when plans changed. I broke my foot four days before our beach trip. After calling repeatedly over three days, I couldn't get cooperation or understanding, and they offered nothing, not even a partial refund. Different people gave conflicting stories about whether the manager was there or had just left, including saying the manager had just left when they'd been there during an earlier call. Once they'd taken our money, it felt like we were on our own. We lost $1,800 on two rooms. They made us feel like we meant nothing to them.

We stayed in one of the two-bedroom units by the pool with six people, and there was plenty of room. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were extremely helpful. You're very close to the boardwalk, and although parking is a little tight, it was manageable. I'd stay here again for sure. I only wish the pool stayed open a bit later.

Our balcony had a great view, and the boards were less than a ten-minute walk away. It was super quiet at night during the off season. Booking was easy, check-in even easier, and the owner was really nice. The room was very clean and smelled good when we arrived. We'll be back.
