Henry deserves a special mention. He’s the nicest person you could meet and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The Sea Gypsy is a lovely Victorian Bed & Breakfast on the shore. I booked the Walt Whitman Room, which was extremely clean and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed that let me sleep well. It had a little sink and an adjoining sitting porch for guests to use. The private bathroom was down the hall, which I loved. Thanks, Henry!

Henry was genuinely nice and attentive to anything we needed, and I definitely recommend the Sea Gypsy. We stayed two nights in the Shel Silverstein room, three adults, and loved the charm of the whole clean house. Beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. A little staircase led to a deck outside our room, nice for breakfast or reading. It’s a short walk to the beach, and they provide beach towels, an umbrella, boogie boards, and a cart to carry it all. There are bikes for an evening ride too. Be sure to get breakfast each day, it was delicious and a great value. This place is a gem.

We took advantage of the short walk to the boardwalk and enjoyed exploring Wildwoods for the first time. We really look forward to coming back to the Sea Gypsy and booking the Ezra Pound suite again. Henry checked us in, told us about the suite’s history, and was incredibly friendly. We also met Romeo, the adorable Sea Gypsy mascot cat, who greeted us whenever we were outside and made us miss our own cats. He’s a shining star. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with two bathrooms with standing showers, a kitchen equipped with cookware, oven, microwave, dishes, and utensils, plus two TVs, a California king, and a trundle bed. The water pressure and temperature were excellent, and the kitchen setup worked well. The only issue was that the ceiling fan didn’t work; the lights and air conditioning were fine. One thing on arrival: don’t worry if you don’t see parking. Call the number on the sign and a staff member will guide you. We had a lovely weekend at the Sea Gypsy Bed and Breakfast.

The staff were helpful and available, and the Jacuzzi tub was lovely. Visiting in the off-season was a great way to enjoy Wildwood’s charm.

Todd and Henry came to our rescue when we got a flat tire on our first night. They kindly plugged it without any fuss, and the family hosting at The Sea Gypsy made the trip feel relaxed and comfortable. My boyfriend and I stayed in the William Warner Cottage over the 4th of July weekend. Our room was clean, organized, and peaceful, with its own entrance and private driveway. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from restaurants, the beach, and the boardwalk. Romeo, the Sea Gypsy mascot, is a super cute, affectionate cat, so keep an eye out for him. Thanks for the kind hospitality. We hope to see you all next year! 🎆
