The room was in such rough shape that the discounted booking.com price still felt far too high. Paint was coming down from the ceiling, holes showed in most lampshades, and the curtain wouldn’t close fully. Worst of all, the pillows had an overpowering chemical smell that made me nauseous. It wasn’t very clean or well maintained either. I’ve stayed in Super 8 motels that were in better condition. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Kumar at the front desk was very nice and tried to help when we asked to switch rooms. We looked at a couple of king suites, which were spacious, modern, and clean. Our original room had two queen beds and was clean and a good size, though the bathroom sink and bathtub clearly needed a major overhaul. The hotel is in a good location, but it was confusing to find because there isn’t much signage and other hotels are close by. I’d recommend it.

The room was a mess when we finally got to it, and the problems kept piling up after we returned from our concert after midnight. The door had been left wide open because housekeeping hadn’t finished by nearly 5 in the evening. We came back to a made second bed, but dusty furniture, no toiletries, terrible towels, a toilet that barely flushed, a remote without batteries, a broken light, roaches and stink bugs, and hard, squeaky, uncomfortable beds. The sink barely trickled, and there was no pull-out couch like the photos showed. Before arriving, I called to say I’d have my service dog, and they argued with me about ADA law. I called again a couple of hours later to request an accessible room, explained what that meant, and was assured I’d get one. The hotel layout was confusing, and I had to circle the whole building to find the front. That showed me there were stairs even to the first-floor rooms, so no room was accessible. At check-in I asked to be on the first floor since I use a cane and can manage a couple of steps. They only had a second-floor room unless I wanted a single. I had booked a double for a reason and called two days ahead to avoid trouble getting into the room. I paid cash because I didn’t trust them after those phone calls. If I’d paid by card, I’d be disputing the charge with my bank. I’m treating the cost as a lesson. I would have canceled after those calls, but the third-party site would have charged my card so close to the date. Find somewhere else.

After several hours on the road, my family and I arrived late hoping to relax, but even watching TV was a hassle. The remote had no batteries. I called the front desk and was told someone would bring some up, then waited nearly 20 minutes without any follow-up. Staff were unfriendly, and the facility was clearly poorly maintained. The photos made the Inn & Suites look decent, and I did like that the rooms had no carpet. But the bathroom and wash areas looked only superficially cleaned. The bedsheets seemed just as neglected, and the mattress covers looked worn from neglect rather than regular washing. Even the mirrors hadn’t been properly wiped down. The condition and service fell short of what I expected.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the dated room looked clean at first. Then I picked up my phone and found a cockroach on it. The bigger concern was the area. There were many people nearby who seemed homeless, though the ones we encountered were harmless and kept away from us. It was still unnerving when people appeared from unexpected places. There was also so much rage and screaming from the neighboring rooms that I nearly called the police and couldn’t sleep. The walls do nothing to block noise. I wouldn’t stay again.
