Motel 6 Williams, AZ - West - Grand Canyon

The front desk man was very friendly and accommodating. He made recommendations and did what he could with what he had. But the condition of the building and the rooms we were shown meant we had to stay somewhere else. There was black mold all over the bathroom, a strong smell of recently smoked weed in the non-smoking room, and the room was neglected and dirty. Management should take note.

The location makes it easy to get to all the entertainment, and the rooms were clean. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it does the job. The pool was closed on 11.8.25. The linens, pillows, and comforters were very worn and had a strong smell. The toilet seat is broken, so watch out for pinching or sliding sideways. I wish we could open the windows for fresh air. Also, there’s a bottle opener screwed to the wall, lol.

The front desk guy was really nice, and the place was clean. But that bed squeaked so loudly that turning over could wake the whole neighborhood. Come on, Motel 6, a little WD-40 might fix every bed in the place.

We paid $150 for one night in a double queen, and it felt like a rip-off. The room was bare, with no fridge, chairs, tissues, or hair dryer. For four people there was only a small bar of soap, no shampoo or lotion, and a toilet paper roll instead of a tissue box. One bed had a big stain on the cover and a broken, tilted headrest. The toilet was tiny and low, and the doors creaked. There was no breakfast, which we knew, but no hot tub or pool either. We only found that out after trying to use them, even though those were why we booked. The receptionist said the pool and hot tub had been out of order since 2023. When we asked why they were still advertised, they said the manager had two other places to run and no time. How absurd. I wouldn’t pay more than $40 for this place.
