Quality Inn Williams Near Grand Canyon

The location worked well for visiting the Grand Canyon or Bearizona, and room 105 was nice and clean. A few things bothered me, though. The thicker curtains wouldn’t close all the way, and the thinner curtain could be seen through. There was mold in the bathroom, and the tub faucet sprayed water from the top, which may explain the mold. We haven’t tried the complimentary breakfast yet.

We stayed for two nights in June 2025 on a family road trip. The hotel is split into two wings and has no elevator. The rooms were clean and nice, simple but not dated, and the pool and hot tub were very nice. I also used the modern laundry machine in the lobby. There’s just one washer and dryer, and a load costs about $5 to wash and dry. The front desk person gave me quarters. Breakfast was standard, and it’s under a mile from the Grand Canyon Railroad and close to things in Williams. This was one of the nicer Quality Inns I’ve stayed at, well suited to a good price. I’d recommend it and stay again.

We checked in exhausted after a full day of travel and driving, but the room was so filthy we didn’t stay the night. There was pubic hair in the tub, someone’s sock under the TV stand, and hair all over the dirty carpets and floors. The refrigerator cabinet door was broken. These things were obvious, so how did housekeeping miss them? Quality Inn in Williams, AZ didn’t provide the clean room we paid for. We brought it to the front desk, and the young woman was pleasant. We told her we knew the mess wasn’t her fault. She said we had to ask Expedia for a refund because that’s where we booked. We used the proper channels, and Expedia did a great job contacting the hotel, but the hotel refused to refund us. How can they keep our money when we didn’t receive what we paid for? This hotel is a health hazard, unsafe and unsanitary. We’ll never return. Do NOT stay at “Quality” Inn in Williams, AZ.

The location was beautiful and convenient for traveling with dogs, with nature right behind the property. Check-in went smoothly, and everyone working there seemed very nice. We had two rooms, one pet-friendly and one next door that wasn’t. Ours definitely smelled like pets, while my kids’ room was immaculate and had no smell. On-site laundry, free breakfast, and an outdoor pool were all selling points.
