The rooms looked newly renovated, almost as if nobody had stayed in mine before. It had a modern feel, hard floors, a smart mirror, a nice smart TV, and great lighting above the headboards. I didn't expect those amenities, and the room was a huge upgrade. The pictures were taken after my stay, so the rooms looked more organized then. Ms. Sherry and Mr. Zaeden greeted me and quickly helped me check in after asking whether I was there for Days Inn or Baymont. Mr. Zaeden helped me throughout my stay, and Ms. Sherry was especially hospitable at checkout. I came in without high expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Great value for the money, and I'd definitely stay at Baymont again. Thanks to both of them for their kindness and service.

The hotel was under construction and felt like a safety hazard. I was traveling alone as a woman and was scared to death staying there. The back security door wasn't always locked. The manager, as I loosely call him, said people went out back to smoke and jammed something under the door so they could get back in without a card. Why not just put the card in your pocket?

The room itself was good, but I felt ripped off because none of the amenities were available. The laundry was broken, there was no breakfast, the vending machines were empty, and the pool was closed for maintenance. None of that was disclosed when booking, and only the breakfast issue was mentioned at check-in. Pretty disappointing.

I asked for an extra pillow for my pregnant wife and was told they couldn't give us one. The service was poor and unprofessional, and refusing even basic comfort made this one of my worst hotel stays. Our toilet clogged, and the front desk didn't know what to do. I suggested a plunger. The staff member first said he'd move us, then came back with a plunger and splashed dirty water everywhere. He washed a toilet brush in the tub, then knocked on my door to tell me to quiet down while I was cleaning up the mess he'd made.

It's an old building with no frills, but my room was amazing, newly renovated, and everything worked great. Breakfast was my one gripe. For the two days we were there, it was just bread: waffles, bagels, and sliced bread. Even that only bothered my wife.
