Magnolia Manor B&B Inn

I’ve stayed here twice and enjoyed both visits. The location is lovely, affordable, walkable into town, and not far from Colonial Williamsburg. Parking is easy and set back from the main road. Scott was helpful when I arrived early on my latest visit. My room faced a somewhat busy street, but I barely heard traffic. The floors creak, though guests were quiet on both stays. Breakfast came too late for my schedule, so I had some of the snacks left out instead. It was a seamless stay, and I’ll be back.

We stayed in room #2 on the third weekend of October and felt like we were being treated to the red carpet. The suite was nearly as big as my condo! Scott, the owner, has a great personality and gave us ideas for places to visit. I loved having hot tea whenever I wanted and the daily muffins, and I’m still thinking about the ciabatta egg and pepper breakfast sandwich. We walked almost everywhere, so the location was perfect. The bed and breakfast was very clean, parking was good, and I’d happily stay again.

Scott was a gracious host and attentive to the little details. There were always refreshments in the lobby, including tea, water, fresh baked cookies, granola bars, and fresh fruit. We stayed several nights in the Governor’s Suite, which had a great King size bed and a beautiful walk-in shower. Breakfast was delicious, and Scott varied the recipes while we were there. We were seriously impressed for what we paid, and look forward to coming back.

We don’t often leave an overnight stay already missing the place, but we really do this time. It was unusually beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and Scott was the perfect host. The breakfasts were delicious, and the location worked perfectly for sightseeing and shopping. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite and will definitely return.
