Starry Hope - Four Bedroom Cabin

The kids had a blast on the second floor, with the pool and air hockey tables, sauna, and Pac-Man and Galaga games. Our Star Crest Resort Cabin had three levels and a balcony, and the views were amazing. Every room had a big, comfortable bed. We were excited for the stay and really enjoyed it.

The cabin was beautiful and convenient, but it felt dated and less clean than other cabins I’ve stayed in that weren’t with Dolly. There was dust built up in the eaves, like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. One tub was missing its drain stopper, so we couldn’t use it, and all the sofa beds were placed in rooms like the master bedroom instead of the main living room. For a Dolly Parton service, I expected those little things to be better.

We had a great time in this cabin. There are Pack ’n Plays for little kids, though I’d bring a baby gate to keep them away from the stairs. The rocking chairs on the bottom balcony were broken and need fixing, but we spent our time on the upper balconies anyway. Each floor has its own balcony, with the hot tub on the top one. You can see why it’s there, but someone on the balcony below could get wet. The cabin has three stories, with the entrance on the middle level. That floor has a stocked kitchen with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, dishes and small appliances, plus the living and dining areas, one bedroom and one bathroom. Downstairs are two king bedrooms, a bathroom, and a small sitting room with a couch, TV, video game, coffee table, washer and dryer. Upstairs there’s another bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi tub, a king bed, two pullout couches, pool and air hockey tables, a video game, TV, and a table with chairs.

The fourth bedroom is the game room upstairs, with pocket doors that close it off from the noise. The cabin was clean and really comfortable, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
