The internet was the main drawback. Calling the wifi "high speed" was misleading, and since it wasn't secured, it seemed like everyone nearby was using it. I ended up tethering to my phone instead, which solved the issue. The staff were really friendly, probably the best customer service I had during my time in Williamsburg. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, though a little old. Breakfast was fine each day, the pool looked nice even though I didn't swim, and the workout machines were in excellent condition. The facilities are more on the "Fair" side of a Poor-Fair rating. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a couple of pretty solid bars. I'd recommend it as a decent place to stay.

The staff were friendly, and the place was cleanish. It's near Busch Gardens, though plenty of other places are too. The parking lot is dark, the furnishings are old, and the pullout mattress is so uncomfortable I felt bad for the kids. The bathroom smells, the sink faucet leaks, and a 2x4 props up the counter, which leans badly. There's a leak in the hallway roof, and the room door sticks when you try to open or close it. We booked a suite, but the sitting room had no TV despite having a cable hookup. The front desk said, "that is how the suites are setup now." You can hear conversations in the rooms from the hallway. I wouldn't recommend it.

I wouldn't stay here again. The place needs a facelift, the wifi was poor, some electrical outlets didn't work, and the air wasn't very strong.
