Ramada Williamsburg East Busch Gardens Area

At least the bathroom and beds were clean, and eventually someone came to fix the TV. The front desk was okay, but the A/C didn't work. All the furniture was worn and scratched, and I had to fix two drawers in my room. The carpet in our room was dirty and smelled like cheese. Hallway carpets were filthy, with paper and weird garbage all over, and clearly hadn't been vacuumed in over a week. The elevator looked like a cargo elevator, with all the gunk on the floor.

We spent an hour and a half driving around looking for somewhere to eat because no one suggested a place. The front desk staff were nice but didn't go above and beyond. Our room was okay, though a bit messy, with stains all over the carpet and a weak fan. The shower pressure was decent, and at least there weren't any bugs. The continental breakfast was tiny, with stale muffins and donuts.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the bar was well stocked. The bartender was very pleasant. My room was average, with a slight mildew smell and stale air, but the bed was very comfortable and the TV programming selection was pretty good. It was a good experience overall, though the hotel wasn't as upscale as the Ramada name suggests.

My room looked like someone had quickly wiped the sink, tub, and toilet with a rag. There was still dust and lint on the sink and tub, and the sink drained poorly before eventually clogging. I told the front desk, but it didn't seem to get fixed, since the basin was still full of water when I checked out. The hotel had a musty smell. One side entrance looked as if someone had thrown up and they'd just swept it up, and that entrance smelled too.
